The Scattering

by Simon Pritchard / Sunday, 08 May 2016 / Published in All Posts, Simon's Poems for Adi Da, Uncategorized

1.

I walked in the night

Under cover of Light

And the journey seemed long

Yet Your Presence was strong

And I felt You pervade everywhere

2.

There was joy in my heart

And right from the start

I knew it was You

And I knew what to do

I knew what it was I must dare

3.

You blew out my mind

And left it behind

As I walked on and on

Until thinking was gone

And my parts You spread to the sky

4.

You starved myself thin

Of the one deep within

And all myself hurled

Far into the world

And nothing was left of an ‘I’

5.

You entered me then

This most hopeless of men

And swift as a dart

You Brightened my heart

Until I see only Da

6.

Your Grace so Divine

Your Light that does Shine

Wiping the fear

Now You are Here

I died and now

Here You Are
