Loss of Face at the Casino
by Simon Pritchard / Friday, 13 May 2016 / Published in All Posts, Simon's Poems for Adi Da, Uncategorized

1.

There is no eye

There is no mind

There’s only peel

Some kind of rind

2.

Eternal time now

On my hands

I cartwheel

On the shifting sands

3.

I dealt my smile

Face up then down

Beneath my joker

Was a clown

4.

My Guru passed the Light

And drew

A flame for me

That burned me True

5.

And now my world’s

Gone up in smoke

A pile of ash

Where I awoke
