Heart Call
by simon pritchard / Monday, 16 January 2017 / Published in All Posts, Simon's Writings

Heart broken am I
Broken and torn
Still that I love you
From dusk until dawn

Still that I worship
The place where you stand
Still do I put my glove in your hand

Still do I breathe the fragrance of you
Still do I know that my love is true

Still do I run to my hearts call
To catch just a glimpse of you through the wall

And pick myself up
Whenever I fall
As I race just to catch
Your voice down the hall

Still do I run
A fool whose in love
Shot through with rainbows
Fired from above

And still do I run to my hearts call

‘Be with her and love her’

That’s all

That is all
