Everywhere Is You

/ / All Posts, Simon's Poems for Adi Da

Artist: Simon Pritchard. Painting: Shaman

I’m dying every day
and every day is wide
I’m dying in my mind
I’m nowhere more inside
You throw me in the hedge
where brambles scratch the pain
and plough my heart a field
where seeds call out Your Name

I’m living every day
and every day is thin
My mind has died a lot
It does not need to win
You throw me in an ocean
Where hearts break on the shore
and all the sands are shifting
To how it was before

I’m loving every day
and everywhere is You
Remembrance is a skylight
and Brightness pouring through
You guide me into silence
Where I could never tread
and now my mind is dying
You make Your Heart my bed
