The Song You Sing To Me

Painting: ‘My Guru Killing Me Softly With His Song’  – by Simon Pritchard

You Sang my heart Your Song
The Song You Sing To me
A Song of how to Love
And live a life that’s Free
Where suffering’s displaced
By understanding self
Where Happiness is Here
Not high upon a shelf

You Sang my heart Your Song
You Sing it every day
You Sang it as I die
And as I goes away
You are what’s Happening
There’s Nothing That’s not You
You Penetrate my heart
You Are what’s Fresh and New

You Sing my heart Your Song
It’s Pure as Autumn rain
Dead leaves you brush aside
They will not come again
But everything that lives
And everything that dies
Is felt to be Your Own
When seen with Open Eyes
